I'd like to raise up the flagpole the idea of playing Clue live. What I mean is we'll post a time in advance and those wanting to play will be expected to be at the computer and actively playing until the game is over. I figure a game will last about two hours.

I think we will need a moderator only for distribution of cards and answering accusations, as we should all be alert to responding to suggestions in turn.

Personally I would prefer evenings, roughly 7PM to 10PM, Pacific time. Sundays to Thursdays would be best for me.

The question for the poll is how interested are you?

still need a non-player I think

PS: undeniably the pauses of our current method can be pretty long. Hopefully Rxwine shows up soon.

I start work at 10pm and leave 75 minutes before that. I'm off this Sunday so could do it then.

How about Sunday at 6:00 PM Pacific time? Since it was my idea, I'll deal.

I'm in. If it drags on I might fall asleep around midnight East coast LOL.

I suggest we waste no time with picking characters, starting as soon as we know how many are playing.

I would like to play, but I am busy that night and will not be able to do this game.

I agree. Characters and order should be randomized.

You're welcome to suggest another time but as with anything, no matter what anybody says, somebody else who wants to play will say, "Just about any time but that one will work for me."

I recommend order of play [taking turns] be kept the same, ie go clockwise starting with scarlet, then mustard, etc. Everybody is used to that.

Agreed.

I think we also don't necessarily need to keep updating the floor plan, in the interests of speed, but we can keep copy and pasting text that says where everybody is, modifying it as we go.
