Lots of people. I've seen man on the
street interviews that show 1/3 know
who will be president, 1/3 don't know,
and 1/3 think it's Hillary.

I question the objectivity of your source. Sounds as valid as an online poll. Worse, the editors of the video chose what to show you.

What part isn't true. There has
to be a crime committed while
the person is president.

Two parts:
That there has to be a crime committed
That it had to happen when the person is in office
Neither of those things is true.

It is pointless to say more, you don't want to know the truth.

Trump only hires the best people.

Now he wants to polygraph them.

Releasing that anonymous letter to the NYT will only make things worse -
Now he will be even harder to control,
And it is a shocking and extremely bad that they are violating the Constitution by hiding things from him and are removing things from his desk before he can see them.

With that letter, the not-so-secret policy of containing Trump until a new republican can be nominated in 2020, is in serious jeopardy.

The only way that was a good idea is if they were setting up a case, priming the public, priming Congress, to actually invoke the 25th amendment.

You know that if it happened, though, every president from here going forward would be hearing calls to be replaced under mental fitness.

I don't see why the conservatives wouldn't prefer #46 President Pence at this point.

Maybe they are holding out until after the midterms, where they could blame the Democrats for removing him through impeachment rather than getting their own hands dirty. That's probably why.

In the House he can be impeached for
anything. In the Senate an actual trial
is held and the crimes he committed
WHILE PRESIDENT are brought against
him and his lawyers defend him.

House Judiciary Committee determined that impeachment under the Constitution “should only be applied to high crimes and misdemeanors committed while in office and which alone affect the officer in discharge of his duties.”

In the case of a president, this would certainly
be upheld. Crimes committed before he was
president can be tired when he's out of office.
I've heard at least 4 legal professors say
this, that he cannot be tried for anything he
did before he's sworn in.

You need to get out of your bubble. The public is very misinformed, and sorry to say it is worse on the Democrat side. Look at how many liberals thought Obamacare meant they now had "free health care." Look at Occasio-Cortez, an educated Democrat, and how just utterly clueless she is on virtually everything. I would say probably half of Democrats either do not know what happens if a POTUS is remover thru impeachment or else think it is something totally wrong (Hillary, special election, etc.)

Heck, right on one of these boards I forget who the liberal was did not even know animals know when the female is in cycle and that is the only time they have sex. Yes, it is that bad.
The President is a fink.

I'm not going to go through everything, but this bit, the second sentence, is wrong:

The hearing in the Senate, in the form of a trial, is to determine whether or not the president who has been impeached by the house should be removed from office specifically for the articles of impeachment brought by the house.

Here is Mitch McConnel recently:
Quote:
Asked by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt whether he believes a president can be indicted, the Senate Majority Leader indicated that a president should be subject to a political -- rather than a judicial -- remedy.

"I'm a lawyer, but not a good one. The Justice Department, I gather, has taken the position under a president of both parties that the appropriate remedy for presidential misbehavior is impeachment," McConnell told Hewitt in a taped MSNBC interview. "I'm not an expert on this, but I hear that's the case."

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/07/politics/mitch-mcconnell-impeachment-indictment/index.html

He is saying that a president can not be indicted for a crime, but he can be impeached, for, you know, NOT a crime, because he thinks the president can not be indicted for a crime.

In the House he can be impeached because
he farted crosswise. In the Senate it has to
be proved he committed a crime or high
misdemeanor while in office. This is why
no president has ever been kicked out,
the process is too exacting.

An op-ed by some coward who can't even say who they are has zero credibility.
