We don't know how low Bob can go. Every time we think there's a limit, he exceeds it. |

She's not his birth mother. He constantly, more than anybody I've ever seen, makes reference to his mother and father, he never uses the word adopted. I think the caveat is needed when your adoptive parents are famous. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It's accepted in decent and polite society that a person's adoptive parents ARE his parents, and requiring anyone to insert the "caveat" (you seem not to understand what that word means, Bob--it means "warning") of "adoptive" before referring to their parents would be an act of the lowest social douchebaggery. As would saying something like "they're not your REAL parents." Disgusting that you even bring up the question, actually. |

RonC Member since: Nov 7, 2012 Threads: 8 Posts: 2510 | I play music for a living. I get paid by the gig. Donald Trump offers me a gig. I say no. I make cakes for a living. I get paid by the cake. A gay couple wants to buy a cake. I say no. One is applauded; the other is protested. |

It's the media applauding or protesting, so it's a meaningless reaction. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

ams288 Member since: Apr 21, 2016 Threads: 29 Posts: 12567 | I LOVE the fact that all the A-list performers have turned Donald down. A normal Republican wouldn't be bothered by it at all. Who cares that celebrities don't want to perform at your inauguration? But Donald is the biggest star f***er there is, so it is a slap in his puffy orange face. He wants A-list celebrities to perform for him badly. But he can't get any. http://www.thewrap.com/insiders-trump-team-dangles-ambassadorships-to-lure-a-list-inauguration-singers-exclusive/ (Side note: I'll be ignoring RonC's false equivalence comparing two gay guys who want a wedding cake with the most powerful man in the world). “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

So far I've only heard about the The Rockettes, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Both unknown and struggling groups. Your problem is, you believe every talking point the Leftie press spews. You eat it up. Like Trump can't win, he has a 10% chance. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I can't think of anything less relevant than what you have and haven't heard. Rush probably doesn't want to focus on how unpopular Donald is. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Of course you will. Mainly because it isn't a false equivalency at all...it is about people in business either being able to provide their services to people they want to for legitimate (don't like the guy or what he stands for), or them being able to refuse service to people they want to for legitimate (religious reasons). The most powerful man in the world can be refused services...and it is okay! It is fine with me...I don't agree with lots of musicians politically. I don't listen to them because of politics. |
