Anyone can make accusations about anyone, but this guy doesn't get whistleblower protection for one thing.

All foreign aid is contingent on the US getting benefits for it. It's not like the red kettle at xmas.

The media is going at this particular incident from the wrong angle. Is what the DNC complaining about is that Ukraine didn't get arms to the extreme right party quick enough?

There is appx. 5 billion dollars that are unaccounted for in Ukraine. We need an audit prior to giving them more aid, let alone military aid. Old Joe's got some splainin to do. Whether our pres twisted Zelensky's arm or not is a non issue.

Trump had no legal right to interfere with what congress had already approved. This is what I understand at least.

As pointed out, Trump didn't get around to suggesting all this corruption he was interested in except a future rival in competition for his job. As also pointed out, the justice department conducts any such investigation not Trump, and not Trump's lawyer as was going on. Gulliani was also working as an unofficial state department and actually undercutting them without even consulting them. Two of his associates have already been arrested for corruption.
Trump continues to rack up indictments and several convictions with people around him, and it looks like there might be a few more. Yet, Trump is just the innocent foil in the middle of all of this??? Hmmm.

Kinda late in the game to be claiming the incompetence defense but it's all they have to fall back on. There are proper procedures and protocols in place under MLAT treaties. Trump didn't follow any of them. And if he truly cared about corruption overseas, he would be requesting MORE money for INL, not LESS.

Pretty obvious what happened here but like all things Trump does, people are going out of their way to debase themselves for him. He doesn't deserve any of it.

If by deep state you mean career servants who have made real sacrifices for our country (not the kind of sacrifices Trump knows, like "building great structures"), then yeah.

It's amazing how many dots you have to connect to defend this man. Everything is a conspiracy. Everybody is a liar. Not him though. No, not him. Can't be. So what if the pattern goes back decades. It's all a coup. Everybody's out to get him because he's...awesome?

Sad state of affairs for the GOP when they are calling a Purple Heart veteran "human scum" but heaping praise on the man who faked bone spurs. You should be so proud.

No, I mean bureaucrats who have their comfy little life and think the people work for them, not the other way around, and decide when they will and will not obey orders depending on who is in charge.

Civil Servants do not really make sacrifices. They take a job that they never get laid off from with a good retirement and cannot be lost to better competition. Quit asking me to appreciate them for anything more than anyone else just doing a job.

What is amazing is how the establishment keeps trying to bring an innocent man down just because he is not part of their little club. From day one. Trying to declare him unfit for office based on......NOTHING. Fake dossiers. Spying by the Obama admin. How can you defend such attacks?
