The important thing is that his heart is black. Pitch black. Just like the folks who worship him (and make excuses for his blunders and evil acts).

He has the potential to drag the entire Trump administration down with him, so they doubtless told him to take a hike (in no uncertain terms) when they found they couldn't bully the media into ignoring the story. This way, they can continue to claim they knew nothing about his antics. Traitors and liars, all of them. This is damage control, but ultimately, it'll be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. They're all going down, Trump included. Maybe one of Trump's properties that hasn't gone bankrupt can be converted to a special ex-Trumper federal prison.

Sally Yates warned Donald that Flynn was likely compromised by Russia. Then she was fired.

If the Republicans in Congress would actually put country before party for once and actually investigate Donald as they would have Hillary (they won't), Donald would be OUTTA THERE.
