Eight Republicans are retiring from their seats in 2018.
Florida 27: Ileana Ros-Lehtinen: Retiring
Oklahoma 1: Jim Bridenstine: Retiring
Kansas 2: Lynn Jenkins: Retiring
Texas 3: Sam Johnson: Retiring
Idaho 1: Raul Labrador: To run for Governor of Idaho
Ohio 16: Jim Renacci: To run for Governor of Ohio
South Dakota at-large: Kristi Noem: To run for Governor of South Dakota
West Virginia 3: Evan Jenkins: To run for the U.S. Senate

In Pennsylvania there is very little chance. It may be difficult for Democrats to even retain 5 out of 17 House seats. Two decades of Republican gerrymandering have almost assured Republicans will hold 12 seats and have a shot at a 13th.

Solid Democrat
Pennsylvania 2 Dwight E. Evans Democratic 2016
Pennsylvania 1 Bob Brady Democratic 1996
Pennsylvania 14 Mike Doyle Democratic 1994
Pennsylvania 13 Brendan Boyle Democratic 2014

Occupied by Democrat that could go Republican
Pennsylvania 17 Matt Cartwright Democratic 2012
This district voted for Trump

Occupied by Republican with some potential to go Democrat
Pennsylvania 7 Pat Meehan Republican 2010
Pennsylvania 6 Ryan Costello Republican 2014
Pennsylvania 8 Brian Fitzpatrick Republican 2016
Pennsylvania 15 Charlie Dent Republican 2004

So far they've heavily targeted every election
since Nov 8th with tons of money and TV ads,
and have lost every one. Montana last week
was the latest. They can target all they like,
as a party they are dead meat.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

The 27 districts with a Republican congressional representative that voted for Hillary are prime targets.

In 1989, Ros-Lehtinen became the first Cuban American and Latina elected to Congress. She was also the first Republican woman elected to the House from Florida, and is currently the most senior Republican woman in the U.S. House. Ros-Lehtinen gave the first Republican response to the State of the Union address in Spanish in 2011, and gave the third in 2014. She is also a champion of gay rights.

After 30 years in the house, she is going to retire, but her district is the most likely to change to Democrat.

HOUSE LINEUP (As of 04/25/2017)
Republicans 238*
Democrats 193**
Vacancies 4

*Price (R), GA resigned 02/10/2017 to be Health and Human Services secretary
*Mulvaney (R), SC resigned 02/16/2017 to be OMB director
*Zinke (R), MT resigned 03/01/2017 to be Interior secretary

** Becerra (D), CA resigned 01/24/2017 to be California attorney general

Trump lost 205 congressional districts and won 230. So Democrats figure they should at least get up to 205 seats.

Not really any kind of news. They have to target wide given how much they lost under Obama.

Of course they will run on an Impeach Trump ticket. They may be overplaying their hand there already. The crazies on the left are going to make average folk want no part of them. You cannot hold a severed head lookalike covered in blood and not turn off good people.

Well the Republicans also have 12 districts where Trump won, which currently have a Democratic representative. It didn't work very well to simply make fun of Trump, as that seems to have simply solidified his backers.

District - Incumbent - Trump %, Hillary %
MN-07 Peterson, Collin (D) 61.8 31.0
MN-08 Nolan, Rick (D) 54.2 38.6
MN-01 Walz, Tim (D) 53.3 38.4
PA-17 Cartwright, Matt (D) 53.4 43.3
WI-03 Kind, Ron (D) 49.3 44.8
IA-02 Loebsack, David (D) 49.1 45.0
NY-18 Maloney, Sean (D) 49.0 47.1
NH-01 Shea-Porter, Carol (D) 48.2 46.6
AZ-01 O'Halleran, Tom (D) 47.7 46.6
NJ-05 Gottheimer, Josh (D) 48.8 47.7
NV-03 Rosen, Jacky (D) 47.5 46.5
IL-17 Bustos, Cheri (D) 47.4 46.7

That's some story. Griffin is a darling of the
Left, they love her. But now that she went
too far, aligning the Left in the US with
Isis, they are all stumbling and stammering
and wondering what's become of them,
how did things get so out of hand. It's
a pleasure to watch them crumble.

History says GOP will lose a few seats in the House. In the Senate the Dems are defending so many more it is hard to see the GOP not picking something up.

So far, Trump seems to be doing the same as he did in the campaign, just keep chugging along with his plan.

But what matters more to the House/Senate is does the GOP back him? I doubt I am alone when I say if they keep abandoning him they had better not be counting on my vote. Sadly I also doubt they understand this as they did not last year during the general.

Watching Mark Dice Channel right now, a CNN panel refused to condemn it. They even complained Trump and family were upset. I guess the network eventually saw the blowback. As the Dice video was before CNN fired the attention whoring old hag.

I think the Democrats would be very happy to maintain status quo in the Senate.

Reagan and HW Bush had a Democratically controlled House their entire term. GW Bush only had to deal with Democrats controlling the House his final 2 years.

Congress (years) Democrats Republican
