It seems like it might be easier to take nonstop Condor Las Vegas to Frankfurt. It is about 4 hours by train from Frankfurt to Amsterdam, but it sounds like you wasted more time than that with layovers. Eurowings flies to Cologne but only seasonally. Sun Country makes Allegiant Air seem like a big corporation. |

Condor also has a nonstop from Las Vegas to Munich from which it is easy to get to Austria. Eurowings flies to Cologne but only seasonally. Coincidentally, they just hired Allegiant's former CEO to be their CEO. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

It is just about 12 hours and you are done. Flying from presumably Amsterdam to Frankfurt to MSP to Las Vegas must have taken ~ 20 hours. |

I just put in where I was going from and to in the Condor web site and accepted the choices it gave me. For the day I wanted to return there was no choice but to make two connections. However, the business class from Frankfurt to Minneapolis was only about $900. Couldn't say "no" to that. I'll keep that in mind about the non-stop to Munich. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
