===============================

Generally male actors make much more money, as even the four male stars of The Big Bang Theory earned over $20 million last year. The biggest movie stars earn much more.

June 1, 2015 and June 1, 2016
Jim Parsons $25.5 million
Johnny Galecki $24 million
Simon Helberg $22.5 million
Kunal Nayyar $22 million

Though Helberg and Nayyar have a slightly lower per-episode salary than do Parsons and Galecki (side projects – like Helberg’s role in Florence Foster Jenkins and Nayyar’s bestselling book, “Yes, My Accent Is Real” make up difference).

I read that. I wasn't impressed. I was looking for inside stories of TBBT, and he didn't give much of those in there. Mostly his upbringing, his break into show business, etc. He was trying to be funny, and wasn't. Good thing I got it free at the library.

All of these people and every other one not on these lists deserves less than minimum wage!

When this year's list of actors comes out, Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel are likely to have much higher numbers since The Fate of the Furious made so much money. Chris Pratt will undoubtedly be in the really big numbers. Tom Cruise's project "The Mummy (2017)" did not do well, but he generally gets paid big bucks up front.

Matt Damon's The Great Wall was a huge bomb, but the time period includes his last Jason Bourne film.

The highest paid list doesn't change radically from year to year as salary is based more on a succession of films Newcomers who are in a hit film rarely make the big money right away

The list for actors came out. Total take is for 20 actors is $720 million, considerably higher than the $172.5 million for the top 10 actresses. Out of the 20, 8 made bucks from MARVEL superhero films, 3 of the top 10 are Bollywood actors. Actually out of top 10 only Adam Sandler made most of his money from domestic films and Netflix, the others were from foreign sales in India or China. Wahlberg biggest source of money was from "Transformers: The Last Knight" which pretty much bombed domestically.

Whalberg, Chan, the Rock, the most
boring and talentless actors near or
at the top. What does that tell us about
audiences these days. They all three
play they're dumb selves in every movie.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo has one of the most varied 28 year careers. A lot more artistic movies and dramatic broadway performances.

It's amazing that he can make $13 million without actually starring in his own Marvel film, he is just a secondary character.

Paul Rudd's Ant-Man surprised everyone by debuting very high for a new Marvel character

Worldwide Boxoffice for New Marvel character debut
$821.7 Spider-Man Sony / Columbia
$773.3 Guardians of the Galaxy BV
$677.7 Doctor Strange BV
$585.2 Iron Man Par.
$519.3 Ant-Man BV
$449.3 Thor Par.
$370.6 Captain America: The First Avenger Par.
