You are correct that he is only the producer and is responsible for story idea (but not the entire writing of the script), but I have a lot of faith in his vision. I think he could put the franchise back on track. Did you watch the trailer? Arnold is *in* this one. Of course, he was in Genisys and it sucked. I, too, am looking forward to T6. It is my co-most-anticipated piece of content in 2019, along with the Picard series. The original and T2 are classics and both rank high on my all-time favorite film list. T3 was meh, the last 2 were pretty brutal. Here's hoping. The CGI in the trailer doesn't give me a ton of hope though. When the CGI is so bad that it looks like a cartoon, you're not doing it right. T2 used early 90s CG in moderation and lots of practical effects and it was great. I wish we could get back to that. "You think I'm joking." -EvenBob |
