Sadly, I think you're right in your conclusion she would lose. I probably should bet more on Trump. Even if Warren doesn't win the primary, I don't see anybody charismatic enough to be competitive. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

It goes back to basics. Trump has to lose the election, since it is unlikely anyone of these potential candidates has the charisma to beat him. It looks like if he is caught burying a dead hooker in the White House lawn, it wouldn't be enough to make him lose. The only likely deciding factor is a trade war with China. Chinese foreign exchange reserves are $3,119,234 Million in June of 2019. That is down from $3,993,213 Million in June of 2014 Russia's foreign exchange reserves are $407,200 Million. The problem is that while I think China will use it's foreign reserves to manipulate world markets as part of an effort to take over Taiwan, I doubt that they would think it is worth it to influence a US presidential election. |

The thing Trump does better than anybody running in the last 100 years, he's great at selling himself. He has a huge amount of self confidence, it oozes out of him. It's why Leno, Letterman, and Howard Stern, before the election, all said Trump was in the top 5 best guests on their shows. He's smart, funny, jokes about himself, he explodes with charm and audiences love him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
