Why don't conservatives love the UN?

It's nearly everything they like. It's a weak central authority usually allowing a wider range of views than our own Congress. They barely have the power to get anything done. Even when they can get agreement enforcement can be fairly weak.

Isn't that their ideal model of central government vs individual states?

I am not a conservative, but there is a lot wrong with your premise.

Some conservatives do love the U.N.
But, people that don't tend to be more nationalistic, they are philosophically opposed to regulations from other countries. Generally people that like locally controlled power oppose all higher forms of government.

As for the U.N. not being able to enforce things, that is usually not the aspect people like about the U.N. or that people fear about the U.N.

Also, the U.N. is often hypocritical in many of its statements.
The U.N. often has many values that are not American (many countries with different views on guns and free speech).

Conservatives seem to complain constantly about "safe space" from hearing anything one doesn't like, so I figure they'd have to love being able to hear all kinds of views, including all their own.

I've never met a conservative who said they liked the UN, so just going on personal experience on that one.

Right, and the U.N supports a lot of "hate speech" regulations.

This kind of sillyness:

That's just one of the diverse views that doesn't necessarily represent something everyone agrees with. It's also one of those fangless statements by a weak central authority and doesn't represent any concrete measure.

We do not like the UN because it believes in draconian laws that take away freedom.

We do not like the UN because its ultimate goal is to be above national sovereignty.

We do not like the UN because it wants to grab guns from law abiding people even more than the Democrat Party.

We do not like the UN because it puts the worst human rights violaters in charge of human rights, sort of like putting the mafia in charge of anti-racketeering enforcement.

We do not like the UN because it is about stealing from some nations to give to others for wasteful nonsense, like global warming prevention.

Probably could go on all day.
The President is a fink.

We do not like the UN because .

Because the US is the one propping
it up monetarily. We pay 22% of it's
operating costs and how many
countries are members? Over 100?
We also pay 30% of other projects
overseen by the UN.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
