Of course they have one goal, to further their cult of personality. Anything Trump does is great. I have not seen this kind of worship of a political before. |

Canadians could get $2000 a month for the last 5 months answering 3 questions on line. The homeless loved it. They publicy announced the ban on residential evictions for not paying your rent back in March. All the scammers immediately stopped paying rent and have lived rent free since then. The total dollar amount taken by the homeless isn't the issue, the fact that they could get $10K and all the other government support they were getting continued is the problem. They didn't have any checks and balances in the system just shoveled out the money to everyone that asked. Drug overdose deaths have been higher than covid deaths in BC since the payments started. Canada has seen 9,170 Covid deaths, but 81% of them were in nursing homes. That didn’t stop the government from following the WHO guidelines, developed with the Chinese government, and shutting down their economy. African nations followed this same guidance, and also destroyed their economies, despite exceedingly low Covid-19 death numbers. Today, 49% of Canadians believe they are facing insolvency, and half of those surveyed say they have no more than a $200 cushion for their monthly expenses. 25% can’t pay their bills and 34% are worried about losing their jobs. To make matters worse, Trudeau is ruining any chance of a recovery by continuing to follow WHO guidance and warning about a ‘Second Wave’. The WHO is wrongly using the Spanish Flu as the example. That second wave was created when they transported soldiers infected with the mutated virus, into heavily populated areas by railroad. |

Obama was the biggest cult of personality in USA history. How did you miss that? The President is a fink. |

?????????????? You make it sound like the WHO and China are making decisions for the planet Thats absurd Each country evaluated the risks. Each country had the freedom to stay open or close regardless of the WHO or China guidelines Each country saw how scary this virus checking with their own health experts (it scares the shit out of me) and made an independent decision. terapined Member since: Aug 6, 2014 Threads: 73 Posts: 11799 | I got my 600 stimulus in direct deposit. Last stimulus was a check that took months as it was paper. Last year was the 1st time I had my return sent to direct deposit. Won't really use this for stimulus. It's so low, won't change my spending habits. Wife got hers. Not really causal.... but she did buy an Italian purse for about that total. Stimulated Italy's economy. Ed, in all seriousness, if you found an additional $1400 on the floor tomorrow, that would change YOUR 'spending habits'? It seems to me you have a reasonable plan for spending, nest egg, emergency fund, etc... You ACTUALLY would change something if you had $1400 more? |
