Why is China collapsing? They will have the largest influence over the world reserve currency. And be the manufacturing center for the world. They've had continued phenomenal growth for years. They've brought their countryside ag lifestyle to the city's. I don't see them collapsing for a long time.

The one-child policy will soon have China being a geriatric country with too few young people and to many old. This is not good for an export machine based on cheap labor. The coasts are wealthy but the interior is Third World.

Do they need as many "boots on the manufacturing floor" with all the robotics and 5-6G? China is investing a trillion dollars in web infrastructure. I'm sure if they need grunts there are plenty in N. Korea, Vietnam or a host of other poorer Asian country's. Supposedly they also use a lot of prison labor.

I think they are crushing us. Between that and all the joint SCO deals, cheap fuel from Iran, buying Africa, and graduating 700/1 engineers against the US. Who's their competition? Japan like you say, aged out. China's going to run the world with tech.

Yes, they do. They are still based on cheap labor. So far their tech is mostly stolen. What you have to realize about this kind of society it the creativeness is not there. Here is an example. China needs loads of American pilots. They need them because Chinese like most non-western peoples do not make great pilots. This is because they excel at "learning the manual" but if the problem is not in the manual they do not know how to handle it. It is the same reason India call center service is so horrible if it is for something not basic. This goes up and down the economy.

We will crush ourselves more than they will crush us. Things like UBI and "free college" will bankrupt America. Too many people in the USA too lazy to work. Too many people in college taking useless degrees (see "too lazy to work.") A growing underclass. Other things already discussed. Plus the inevitable collapse of USD.

China has the same problem Soviet Union had, too many languages. China has over 300 languages and no one central language. All together China has over 300 different languages

Being creative it's not in their culture, it is not in most Asian cultures. They breed followers not leaders. Thinking for yourself and being a leader is an American trait, Asians are taught to get along and never rock the boat. Much like women do, they like to make decisions by committee. Only if everybody agrees can it be the right thing to do. Chinese are good worker drones and soldiers, show up do your job go home get old die.

They excel if it is about following a procedure. Following the manual. But if it is not exact they freeze up. It's why they hire western pilots. By putting locals with the westerners they want them to pick up the think for themselves traits. The thing about Americans is we do good at "software." The Japanese made the VCR and TV but Americans made what the world used the VCR and TV for. That is one thing we will have going for us for at least a couple more generations.

The US doesn't encourage creativity anymore. The communists controlling your country will call you a racist if you don't think like them. If you are successful innovator/entrepreneur they want all your money.

The first generation Chinese that are raised in America are often very successful. They combine the built-in Ironclad work ethic with creativity. People like Mikey Chen are good examples. His Chinese parents brought him here when he was a little kid and raced him in a restaurant business and he now makes $2000000 a year off his travel Food Channel on YouTube. I watch his videos everyday and the guy is a workaholic. Another hugely successful YouTuber is Mark Wiens, he has a Chinese mother. Mikey Chen talks about his childhood and says his parents were relentless about working hard and doing what you're told. Combine that with being raised in a country that encourages entrepreneurship and individualism and you're unstoppable. Mikey Chen is an excellent example of the American success story. He built an empire totally on the strength of his personality and his business acumen. He also owns at least two restaurants that I know of.

The Japanese retain some traditional elements, but they are creative and trendy to the point of being absolutely weird.
