Because at the level he was at it is very likely he was tied in with something. The President is a fink. |

Why would that be likley? The dude was a billionaire who was probably a career criminal (shady past in questionable industries), and seemed to have a thing for underage girls for many decades. Seems like a pretty typical case of money and power with strange proclivities. And, will naturally attract others with similiar inclinations. Since he died before the trial we will probably never know the full scope of his background. I doubt he was an intelligence asset. |

Lots of powerful people wanted him dead, I don't deny that. That does not mean anything other than he had a lot of powerful people on his island. Also, lots of people wanted him dead for vengeance reasons. Also, its plausible that he knew he was in a corner and just had enough. There are many plausible reasons for his death that don't involve some CIA conspiracy. His death is unfortunate because lots of powerful pedophiles and rapists will not be revealed officially (other than vague lists of who visited the island on certain dates). When you have dirt on multiple former Presidents, Royal Families, billionaires, and some mainstream celebrities, and all kinds of people in between, there are going to be some well connected people who don't want you to talk. |

Oh I have almost no doubt about that. Especially given the nature of the industries that he made his money in. But, my guess it that he used such methods either as a power play or for protection, not on behalf of some government. |
