This may have big implications for all those who believe even birth control is forbidden by some god or natural order.

Opill, also known as the "mini-pill," contains one hormone, progestin, and is taken daily. It was first approved by the FDA as a prescription in 1973.

The FDA said it is approving the over-the-counter version for all users of reproductive age, including teenagers, a move that is expected to remove barriers to access and reduce the risk of unintended pregnancies.

Oh dear, teens won't have to consult mom or dad.

I'm actually interested to see which of the Republican candidates doesn't take issue with it. If I had to vote for one, this would definitely be an important consideration.

But if they want cigarettes they do to age 21!

And when they get student loans they can say they were too young to know what they were doing.......

This country makes no sense.

How long until an unelected GOP judge in TX puts a hold on this until the Supreme Court can weigh in?

Because smoking cigarettes and taking on debt are not medical procedures.

There is a big difference in a child having a medical procedure and using recreational drugs or taking on debt.

And, having an unintended child under 18 will ruin your health and finances more than any debt or smoking could.

I don't know, what time is it? Has it been over an hour yet?

Which is why parents need to be involved before they have a medical procedure.
