At least in a lot of ways

It's become so scammy and spammy

Of course, there are a lot of great things about the web

But this direction - the ever increasing no. of scams and spams is a real turnoff

If you are on a computer and using Windows, there's a Firewall program.

Then access the Resource Manager (different program) and try to find the IP addresses communicating without your knowledge.

Block them in the Firewall program.

But the most important ones are the outgoing communications.


Unblock the ones you need and use.

You'll know which ones they are when something quits working.


My experience is very very little spam.

I never click on a link sent to me.

Restrict folks getting your email address.

If you do get spam, block it within your email program.


Bump your browser security up a notch.
