I would have been proud to stand in that line had I been anywhere near SB today. I even looked into the price of the airfare, which was about $800 round trip from Vegas. I have to draw a line somewhere.

This was not the lady. The lady I'm talking about had bangs and looked quite different physically from the lady pictured above.

Often the event is the line. It becomes a single's dry cocktail party and there is more socializing on the line than interest in the actual bloom. At 800 round trip, I'd await a bloom at Yale.

I talked to her for about five minutes when I went to the see the Titan Arum. She was very cool. They had some carnivorous plants on the table, which she spoke about. We also spoke about gingko trees, whose female variety are known to produce a very smelly flower.

I found a picture of the lady at the gate I referred to as "Morticia" among my distance shots. I snipped out her face:
