I finally made it to the 4096 tile, which I think is a good stopping point, for now. Make liberal use of the save/load game feature. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Besides the hint I gave above, here is another one. Layer the tiles with the big ones on one side and moving towards the small ones on the other. Let's say that you put the big tiles on the bottom. Then you should be mostly be going left and right and sometimes down. Never go up, as that may place small tiles under the big ones, wasting space. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

That 2 in the lower right cell is ruining the whole set up. I had to sacrifice position to make the 4096 tile, and couldn't recover from it. Somebody put a bullet in my head if I play this game again. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | I just found this video: Interesting how he puts the big tiles in a corner, as opposed to the bottom like I was doing. Maybe I should try that. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

I run the biggest tile into the bottom right corner. Using right/down in alaternative succession quickly automatically gets stuff filled in. When this stops, I slide up, but keep the biggest tile still in the bottom right where ever possible. if it moves and a 2 sneaks in behind, your gonna have a rough time. Eventually, the biggest are in the bottom right slots, but the top right grows as well and the middle may have smaller tiles I am storing to pack together.
