Even by the standards of an R rated movie or former groundbreaking shows like Sex in the City on HBO. I wouldn't want to explain it to a 12 year old. |

How do you 'act' when a good looking girls crotch is in your face. I don't like that the author used the word 'filthy' to describe a sex act. How is the thing we do to keep the human race going 'filthy'. Is it my aunt Ruth from the 50's writing this? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

If you haven't found porn on the net by the time you're 10, you just don't care. I wouldn't want to explain it to a seven year old. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

boymimbo Member since: Mar 25, 2013 Threads: 5 Posts: 732 | I think 12 is reasonable. Boys become pretty sexually aware by that age, and if they haven't seen porn yet, a friend will introduce it to him. At age 12, it's all fantasy, which is sad. In my day, it was my dad's playboys and my brother's penthouse and "forums" that brought the fantasy home. That wasn't so bad. Penthouse's pictures at the tie were just more explicit (showing the bits -- Playboy wasn't). But when 12 year olds are watching hard core porn with some pretty depraved acts, it becomes the norms for them. And then the girls (having not seen the porn) that the boys eventually date are expected to perform to that expectation, which creates some pretty depressing trends (but pregnancy is down, because vaginal sex is not one of them). If I had a son between 11-12, I would explain to him that he will likely see things on the "net" that aren't realistic, to treat girls and young women with love and respect. I don't know if I could get any more graphic to him than that. And of course, I will have the internet protection on at my house, not that it won't stop him from viewing it elsewhere. |

I guess that pornography is not that hard to come by. I guess I am old enough to think there is a difference between internet pornography and cable TV. |

Heck, some of the stuff I've come across online leaves me with more questions. Like why? What??? You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
