Most actors would kill to be in a single franchise. Zoë Saldana looks like she has a pivotal role in three franchises now. She was in Avatar, and is scheduled to reprise her pivotal role for the sequels. As Uhura she should be in every Star Trek movie. Now Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled for a sequel after smashing boxoffices in the first weekend.
Furthermore she is starring in two animated films this year, either or both which could end up a series.

Who? Never heard of her. Most black actresses
are so underwhelming I don't even notice
them. Pam Grier is the only one I can actually
remember.

An actress that always amazes me is Olivia Wilde.
Saw her in Drinking Buddies last night, a very nice
film and she was outstanding. She's only 30 and
has worked non stop in the last 10 years. Stunning
and talented.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Zoe is Latina, not African American. How can anyone call Halle Barry underwhelming.

This one's whelming

Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

I've felt the same amazement that Hugo Weaving could be a major player in 2 franchises (Agent Smith in Matrix trilogy, elf Elrond in the Lord of the Rings trilogy). And consider Andy Serkis, who plays Caesar in the Planet of the Apes films, and Gollum in LOTR trilogy. Those guys have amazing agents. We could go on and on. I like Zoe.

There are a number of actors in two franchises. Orlando Bloom could technically be considered to be in three (if you count LOTR and The Hobbit as different franchises.

Actually, Bloom is 3 franchises too when you count Pirates of the Caribbean series.

Maybe it's because Ms. Saldana was three different colors in the three roles mentioned...

Star Trek= Brown
Avatar = Blue

Guardians = Green

I don't even think I've seen the movie, but I saw this part.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Catwoman got 17 good reviews and 174 bad ones on rotten tomatoes. I did read one review which said if you saw that trailer, you saw everything worthwhile in the movie.
