To a Lib, perception is everything. GW is now
Climate Change, for instance.
We are the most powerful force on the planet capable of anything, but it's nice we're not responsible for coincidence. Even better there isn't a coincidence and I feel good we live in a world without consequence for our actions.

Burn burn baby burn disco inferno! Probably the best part is even if we're responsible, we can keep the profits for ourselves and share the burdens if there are any.

There were efforts at equalizing the language by "feminists" who then became "feminazis". "Estate taxes" became "death taxes" in order to protect rich inheritance, "Affordable Care Act" became "Obamacare" to protect insurance profits, a hundred other examples, whether obvious or subtle.

Nobody but nobody but Rush has ever used
feminazi. Obama himself called it Obamacare
until it started to stink. Then him and his people
walked back from the term. Where the heck
do you get your info, Babs. Quit watching
MsNbC..

I agree. I'm not suggesting "freshman" should be banned and wouldn't support any effort to do so. Just supplanted with a better, more descriptive effort.

"Novice", "First-year", something similar might work.

So do you want it banned or not want it banned? Or did you want it banned before you decided you didn't?

Liberals lie banning words because banning words eventually controls thought. Think about it, if you did not have words to describe things, how would you describe it?

"Manly" is a word liberal feminists are dying to get rid of, for example. It describes many traits males should aspire to. But if it was gone, you would have a hard time describing what it means in one word.

Make no mistake, feminazis want a weird kind of world and want words banned for a reason.

The term is 'fresher' in the UK, but only really for the first couple of weeks. Then it's just 'under graduate' until they graduate or drop out. I guess fist, second, third year etc. is mentioned if it's important.

People for and against the ACA used Obamacare...and the ones opposed to it did not coin the phrase...
