Mustard leaves study library and has a cigarette outside the Billiard room awaiting the next turn.

You were in the library.

see if outside the Study is where you want to be. They shouldn't have named one of the rooms the "hall" as it causes confusion for us. You could mean outside the hall room, the room itself a door too far, if so let us know.

Mrs. Peacock can go ahead and take her turn.

I've been thinking about it a lot, and I've decided there is really no problem with players making an accusation, when they intended to after a suggestion, before it is their turn. It'd be the honor system that this was their intention, but didn't have a chance; but the advantage a cheater would get would be fairly minimal.

The alternative is to introduce another delay into the game, which I would dislike personally.

A compromise could be that the player has 24 hours after his suggestion was announced in the thread to be disproved, dated by the time the disproving fact was announced, not the time the player opens the message with the info. I'd be OK with that.

We should always pause and wait if a suggestion is not disproved by anyone, even though that doesn't mean an accusation is coming absolutely for sure.

Otherwise I think players should just go on and take their turns.

I'd like to resolve this before the next game. Please reply and vote on it too, choosing from the below, thanks. Anyone who intends to play can vote.

a] players can make accusations any time after a suggestion, no time limit, if they say they intended to all along.
b] players have 24 hours as per the above, with other players not pausing to wait unless the suggestion was not disproved.
c] players have to wait until the suggesting player announces [at least to the non-player] whether or not they want to make an accusation; this too will expire after 24 hours after the suggestion was announced in the thread to be disproved.
d] any better idea, which we can discuss

As for now, I am going with 'c' but want to switch to 'a' or 'b'

I like B.
Also, how should we make our accusation? My suggestion is to post in thread that we are making an accusation and pm the nonplayer what it is. That way if we are wrong, it won't. give out too much info.

I'm OK with that, unless there is a protest why don't we consider it the rule.

I cast no particular vote. Go with majority. Or Simon says.

I think B will work, but re: the accusation. Isn't part of the game hearing the accusation, whether it's found to be right or wrong? If it's wrong, that player is out (I think), but there's info to be gained when someone makes an accusation (for example, it should mean they don't hold any of the cards they named), and also who disproves the accusation, even if you don't know what part it was. I mean this as discussion, not necessarily negation of the idea.
