As far as the campaign finance laws supposedly broken, the only people who will care are those that already want DJT out. This isn't like Saudi Arabia buying favor from the Clintons, or Russia from DJT. It's a man not wanting his wife to know (or just not wanting the public to know) that hers isn't the only garage he parks it in.

Since Melania met him and cheated on Marla with him, and married him anyway, she presumably (unless she's an imbecile) would expect the same from him. So, hide what from her? He probably told her, while she was pregnant and nursing, he would be parking it elsewhere.

Hiding it from the public, why? He pushed his pecadillos onto the front pages of the tabloids, bragged about them on Howard Stern, etc for decades. He probably bragged to everyone at the time. He's a belt-notcher, a star-f!##er, a trophy collector; he would want everyone to know he nailed a porn star and a Playmate, and probably others besides.

Things only changed when he became political, and there was such a precedent of politicians being destroyed by sex scandals.

Agree that it's the effort of the cover-up, including contemporaneous NDAs and perhaps earlier payoffs, that will come back to haunt him. Hard to expect serious consequences, though, given how willing some people are to ignore or justify his track record. That's the part the astounds me - the amazing double standard being applied.

Donnie Dennison should stop trying to recruit lawyers, and represent himself instead.

After all, he meets the client criteria for such representation better than anyone else in history.

Why would any respectable lawyer want to represent him? There is no question that he will perjure himself if he ever gets put under oath.

I do have some free advice to prospective lawyers wishing to take this dumpster fire of a client:

“Mr Dennison, we require a retainer of $10,000,000.00 US Dollars in the form of a cashier’s check made out to Connem, Chethem & Howe before we do any work at all.”

The actual figure for the retainer and the name of the law firm may vary.

In the future, when people study this era in school, they will benefit greatly from the scandal-a-day calendar of the Trump White House.

By then the American National Party (formerly the Republican Party), will distribute Tweet Of The Day hymnals to all the churches of the Holy Machine Gun.
