Beta seems to be one of those guys like Weiner in NY. They have some compulsion to run for public office no matter that they will lose big. It probably helps that they live off the donations to their campaign instead of taking a straight job.

I just watched a clip of Trump saying we are staying in Syria because we want to take their oil. Not because of the evil Assad, not for democracy or civil rights or any of that crap. We are there and we are going to take their oil, because we want to.

And although I have been against imperialism and killing and looting all of MENA, I have to say that, that little truth bomb makes the whole thing just a little bit easier to swallow.
