If there are... Would that stray from the normal hiring practices of political officials? Houston's mayor has a $95,000 a year intern with undefined responsibilities. Just about every politician with a staff hires people that will carry out their plans. A lot of those are "Yes" folks who won't stand up to their boss. |

Ever spend much time around 80 year olds? You don't want them driving, you don't want them making decisions that involve anything major, they're tired a lot and take a lot of naps.
