I hope none of our lefties take the bait and respond to this trolling post with anything other than mockery. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Biden is imploding before our eyes and he never even left his basement. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

This is not new for the last several years he has said things along those lines mkre generally, he has made several Twitter postings over the last few years, "My Admin has done more for the Black Community than any President since Abraham Lincoln. " Does anyone actually beleive this? I would hope not, but I would nkt bet on it.... Also Trump seems obsessed with Lincoln, it seems like every issue is "since Lincoln"..... |

Lots of Blacks certainly do. I subscribe to several Youtube channels with Black hosts and they talk about it all the time. How Obama said he would improve the Black community and how Trump is actually doing it. Minority businesses are are going gang busters under Trump policies, according to them. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

There have been more Presidents than Obama and Trump since Lincoln. I think any sane person would say any President who fought against jim crow laws has done more.... Johnson is one of the best (and one of the greatest presidents of all time). Even Bush did more for "blacks" in the global sense, his Africa relief where he saved actual lives by the millions. One reason I don't mind saying that I respect Bush. Trump has done nothing, but tax cuts which helped all businesses (including black owned businesses), and working with Kim Kardashian (let the irony sink in) on "criminal justice reform" for some media-centic pardons. When Trump visited his AC casinos (before he lost them) blacks were not even allowed to be visible working on the floor..... |

Worst president in history. Johnson only did it to get their vote. He referred to them as “n@##$%s” He previously helped destroy Eisenhower’s Civil Rights bill. It wasn’t until he realized “There’s more of them voting percentage wise, than white folks”, that he came up with his own 'N#%%a Bill'. A year later, he passed his immigration bill, that brought in foreigners from third world countries, to vote Democrat and compete for jobs with the Blacks before they ever had a chance to gain a foothold in the economy. His ‘great society’ program seeded low income housing, AKA Democrat voter storage units, in cities across the nation, and caused the rate of violent crime to more than double within a few years. He got us into the Vietnam war, that cost the lives of nearly 60,000 Americans, wounded hundreds of thousands more, and killed more than two million Vietnamese, before Nixon ended it. |

"History has viewed Johnson both through the lens of his historic legislative achievements, and his lack of success in the Vietnam War. His overall rating among historians has remained relatively steady over the past 35 years, and his average ranking is higher than any of the eight presidents who followed him, although similar to Reagan and Clinton" " 1963: Clean Air Act of 1963 1963: Higher Education Facilities Act of 1963 1963: Vocational Education Act of 1963 1964: Civil Rights Act of 1964 1964: Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964 1964: Wilderness Act 1964: Nurse Training Act of 1964 1964: Food Stamp Act of 1964 1964: Economic Opportunity Act 1964: Housing Act of 1964 1965: Higher Education Act of 1965 1965: Older Americans Act 1965: Coinage Act of 1965 1965: Social Security Act of 1965 1965: Voting Rights Act of 1965 1965: Immigration and Nationality Services Act of 1965 1966: Animal Welfare Act of 1966 1966: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 1967: Age Discrimination in Employment Act 1967: Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 1968: Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 1968: Bilingual Education Act 1968: Civil Rights Act of 1968 1968: Gun Control Act of 1968 Significant regulatory changes1968: FCC creates national emergency number 9-1-1 " I support all these, also I support the Vietnam War so unlike many I dont hold that as a negative to weigh against them. As for videos of him saying racial slurs in private conversation, its sad, but its the 1960s, and he did more to help blacks that anyone since Lincoln (that is actually a true statement, not what Trump said). He was also not afraid of dealing harsly (with the military) of riots in the 1960s while having progressive social policies which I also support. The clip you post where he uses the N-word, he is discussing the future voting rights act which he eventually chanpions. The voting rights act ban literacy tests (which some conservatives on here would like to see back) along with poll taxes... Also, allowing for federal regulators to make sure states where administering elections properly.. So yes his language was sad, he opened up democracy to millions more with that act..... There is almost nothing President Johnson did that I disagree with other than a few phone clips where he uses unfortunate language, but its the 1960s... Generally he is regarded as a great beacon of social progress. Calling him the worst President in history is not accurate by any metric. Anyone want to bet if Trump will be in the top 12 Presidents after the next ranking? Or even be ranked better than Johnson Of course he won't be..... And, remeber Johnson accomplished all of this after becoming President unexpectedly, pretty impressive. https://web.archive.org/web/20110209101510/http://legacy.c-span.org/PresidentialSurvey/president/Lyndon_Johnson.aspx https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_Rights_Act_of_1965 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyndon_B._Johnson https://web.archive.org/web/20110209085927/http://legacy.c-span.org/PresidentialSurvey/Overall-Ranking.aspx |

Calling him "the worst" is a stretch. His presidency was a failure though. He moved a lot of paper to be sure. But he creates a permanent, multi-generational poverty class. He created structural deficits for the first time and they have lasted until today. Vietnam was a disaster no matter how you look at it. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |
