That is one tactic that way too many folks use across the board--here and in "real life"--taking a position on a certain issue and somehow making it "racist."

The term "racist" and people actually suffering from "racism" are the ones harmed by this overuse and misuse of the word. If it applies to everything, it applies to nothing.

I was thinking of a thread on that very subject, racist, nazi, homophobic, white supremacist, hitler (as an adjective). We are losing control of the language.

On a related subject the political spectrum has become skewed. I wish someone would inform the little darlings in colleges across the nation that anarchist's are on the far right not the far left. the extreme left is totalitarianism.

Maybe some of you can enlighten me on how US law works in such a way that a single judge can instantly over throw a president. I can see a ruling against Trumps decree by any judge but it seems there should be something more to due process than an instant end to the decree. I would think it would need to go through some appeals and maybe a fast track to the supreme court who could temporarily suspend it until they could decide the matter if they so decided.

Obviously as a Canadian I am not up on the US system but it seems rather strange that one judge can stop a president instantly.

The key is that it is temporary and part of our system of checks and balances. SCOTUS cannot hear every last new case. Trump can and will appeal. It is just the first step.

Depends on her situation. For example, Hillary Clinton did not make it on her own, that is clear. But I have never heard white women credit AA for their success. I have heard if for black males. Colleges are not setting aside slots for white women, they are for black males.

WRONG Once again Colleges set aside many more slots of white women and men, than for blacks. It is called legacy admissions.
