I've been hoping for a while to find more youtube videos that I like - now that I am tuned into looking for foraging, this is really hitting the jackpot, turns out there are many, many about it

although foragers would still be a tiny fraction of the population no doubt, it sort of suggests foraging is more popular than I thought.

I meant the drain field. We had a septic tank at my parent's vacation house in Washington so I know they are underground.

I was joking, it's like saying a well
is underground. A drain field has
a lawn on top of it, there is nothing
to see. You know when it's bad,
sewage leaks to the surface and
it stinks.



Except my drain field is at the bottom
of a hill, and helped a lot by gravity
flow.

The NE has got to be the easiest place to do this. Am I just biased by familiarity? Unlimited fresh water, no venomous animals, no large aggressive predators, tons of useable, workable trees, reasonable climate...Midwest Great Lakes is similar, but it would seem that any other place would be much more difficult. Too cold up, too much venom down, and it's way too dry the further left you go.

Anyway... unless you're on a salt water island and coconuts are your only water source, you never climb trees. Certainly not for something as simple as a "green branch". Thought that part was silly. Also, because I'm also "in my cups"...why is it that plant water is always OK? Millions of years of evolution and millions of hours of medical research, and I'm still filled with poisons and pathogens that'd make something sick if they drank me. Yet with plants, we're always OK?

I need more tinfoil...
