They think wealth just magically appears from the government and can be created at will. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

How do you reconcile this with the fact that the last great leap forward the US did was with many of the high-tax-rates-on-your-hundredth-million-type plans being discussed? Is going from a baby to having $50mm by age 50 not "succeeding in spectacular fashion"? Is being able to make "only" 7-8 figures "detrimental"? IMO, it's only detrimental to those hungry for power, and there's not a demographic in existence that needs a kick in the balls more than they. Considering all the unscrupulous moves to get money into politics, it is beyond due. It is duty. I'm also curious as to why YOU care. Been tellin' ya all along to ditch your TV and BS 24hr news. Now you're all ramped up about poors getting $1k a month while the .coms pilfer billions right out of your pocket due to laundering, lobbying, and all sorts of BS you and I are not allowed to do. I really am dying to know why no one ever mentions this stuff, especially you righties who are always concerned about others getting your s#$%. Not confrontational at all, I'm genuinely curious. Both because it appears to me that there's stuff you're not aware of, as well as wondering what YOU know that I'M not aware of. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

What are they pilfering out of my pocket? Well, there are subsidies to Tesla buyers I guess. But for the most part, private companies do not take a dollar I did not want to give them in exchange for something. OTOH, the "$1,000 for everyone" will come out of my pocket at the point of a gun. Ramped up, hardly. It's a joke to be laughed at, nobody but the poor think it will really happen. And they probably don't believe it either.Even the people pushing it know it would never work. They tried it in Norway and it almost bankrupted them. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I was just watching a 60 minutes episode I had recorded about NYU medical school providing free tuition. What do you think of that? "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

The only way it could be 'free' is if the school didn't pay the teachers. That isn't happening so it's not free, somebody is paying. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

That's also what cracks me up when libbies always proclaim that health care is a "right". I'm sorry, but nobody has a "right" to somebody else's labor. Why the hell would anyone want to become a doctor only to have a bunch of liberal cockroaches get in their face and demand that they treat them?? 🙄 |

Yes, they didn't just get money out of thin air, Captain Obvious. But it's still free tuition to the medical students. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

In general I would be against it if taxpayer dollars were involved. But if a private entity wanted to pay the tuition instead of the student I have no problem with that. Poorer students (like I was) now already do not pay full tuition. I got some financial aid, some loans too. It seemed quite fair to me. I never expected not to pay anything. I do think it will of course give NYU a big advantage in getting the best college students to want to go there. |

Only if it's paid for with private funds, which is unlikely to last very long. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
