You know why the non-gay examples don't freak out? IMO it's because many years ago, we as a society got educated. We realized a number of these maladies had perfectly logical, reasonable, not-scary causes and effects. We learned about genetics, about fetal development, anatomy; human biology. Because of this education, we were able to say "His arms did not develop because of a congenital defect caused by A and complicated by B" or "He lost his vision because of a detachment of the retina caused by X". Because we were able to say this, we didn't have to cling to ignorance and fear and prescribe the maladies whackadoo causes and sources.

We used to, though. Toss a no-arm into a field, ostracize a sick man as having angered the gods and exile him from the community, beat the left handedness right out of you. You know, treat him like a POS or worse, all because of our own stupidity. Now we know that mocking a child without legs or beating behavior, especially inconsequential behavior, out of people makes one subhuman.

Except gays. F#$% em, right? Freaks. Pedos. Faggots. I wish one would come at me screaming, right? Like, get medicated or something. Electro shock. Anything. You Are Not Natural. Effing gross. I mean, hahaha, look at this meme. Nice hair, guy, where'd you get the leggings? Yes, I said "guy". You're a GUY. Your self image is wholly my responsibility to manage and I declare it trash.

There is somebody who loves you, and you probably love them, too. And they're gay. And you have no idea. If you can explain why it's worth it to you to destroy this person, I am all ears. Reckon I lost my mouth, but I will be listening.

Or let's take a look at your understanding of science. These are broken people by your account. Bats in the belfry, am I right? If that's how you view them, observe your behavior. Compare then to others that are "broken". Lupus, MS, spinal bifida, bi polar, schizo, no arms, no legs, self harmers, autists, or the thousands of other biological hiccups. You put gays into this group, and then mock and deride them.

It’s recreational pessimism. A fetish rooted in ranting about how terrible things are, how society is collapsing. It’s a cheap, low effort mindset that is an easy way to feel superior.

Of course none of it is true, and it’s really sad to see so many getting caught in that trap. It’s no way to live your life.

I love the "it's no way to live your life" finale. I may agree with a bunch of the things AZ and Shrek believe in about many lib causes being bad for the country. But it doesn't leave me with such a pessimistic view. It doesn't stop me from playing golf, eating out, and attending a funeral.... my activities yesterday. I don't think I had a single thought about 'alphabet people" or Trump or anything 'political' or 'liberal' or 'conservative' yesterday. Maybe I did but it must have been in passing. Perhaps I posted here about something like that but it must not have made a big impression on me. My point is these type things effect you if you want and let them. I may chat about them, and share my feelings here, but it doesn't affect my day to day existence.

Having a pessimistic view does not mean you do not play golf or eat out. My being awful at golf stops me there, I'd rather do someting I can enjoy. But I still have a pessimistic view, because that is reality. I can see the road society is going down, and it is not a good one. I will enjoy myself as I can, but will prepare for the disasters that are coming.

As one example, and to get on-thread. I was 100% against gays being scoutmastesrs in the Boy Scouts. Well, now the abuse claims are coming home to roost. Any person with a clear mind could see that would happen, same reason you do not put straight males in that kind of contact with teenage girls. But the PC crowd said it was impossible, that gay males just want to be "normal." That they do not go for teenage boys.

Pessimism was the correct path. Many boys had their lives destroyed forever. And for what?

I don't know how they've changed their interactions with both sexes. Both sexes were victims.

And lesbian nuns have doubtless molested young girls. It is bad all over and the church needs to fix it. Does not really change much about gay males should not be around teenage boys in situations like BSA or priests can be in.

I don't want to destroy the alphabet people (shoutout to Dave Chappelle, I love this one lol). They're the ones who want to destroy everyone else. Look at what they're doing again to that poor baker in CO. Instead of just going to a different baker, they literally want to destroy this man's livelihood.

Can you imagine a regular dude going to a GAY baker and demanding that the gay baker decorate a cake saying "Long Live Westboro Baptist Church!" or something similar? And then suing the gay baker for rejecting the request?? The alphabet people would run that guy straight out of town!!

I can't stand hypocrisy and that's exactly what the alphabet people are guilty of.
