Pence finally gets it
Wore a mask in public today
Kudos to Pence

Nothing but disdain for folks not wearing masks and not participating in our society's effort to fight our common enemy.

Seems like there is more to this story, than just evil unions.

I am just repeating it as it was told to me in Collective Bargaining class.

This sounds recent, are you still taking CB classes?

Generally you are required to take any available job after a certain amount of time on unemployment, even if it’s a downgrade. Thought I’d imagine those policies have been temporarily suspended.

It is quite easy to not get that job 'offer'. Go to the McDonalds, and tell the potential hirer that you won't clean the toilets. Next! People need the check from the government to be significantly less than the check for working for them to make a good faith effort to find a job. The bozos who crafted the Federal unemployment part of the Bill should be on unemployment for all they are worth.....

It was in 1993. Interesting class coming from a union family. Not still taking. But oh what it lets you know. Like the "Fight for $15" being a joke. The workers claim they "want a union" and the union backs them. But do they ever have a campaign?

Michigan protesters storm state Capitol in fight over coronavirus rules: 'Men with rifles yelling at us'

Just more of what I keep telling you all the 2020s violence will be like. How long until this police state moves them from a show of force to using force?

Democrats in MI and elsewhere will ignore the warning.

Yes it does. It's always about the money.

. If her present job fires her because they think she should have come back earlier, she will eventually just get another part time low level job somewhere else.

I guess an employer who doesn't follow up on a work history gets what he gets. You'd have to be really slick to go through life expecting no employer to want references.

I will only wear a mask if mandated by the business that I am visiting. I was with a friend yesterday in California and we stopped at a convenience store. My buddy bought cigarettes, a soda, and lottery tickets. The clerk would not sell him lottery tickets because he wasn't wearing a mask. The clerk sold him the soda and cigarettes.

Why are they still allowed to sell nonessential lottery tickets is what I wonder.
