USA death rates would be far lower if there was not incentive to put the china virus as a cause of death. Follow the money. Always.

That may be true... if there were not the tens of thousands of extra deaths our country is seeing monthly. If you cannot come up with a reasonable alternative for the large increase in TOTAL deaths, then you are most likely just plain wrong.

So I'll give you a chance... what is your hypothesis for the additional hundreds of thousands of deaths the USA experienced in 2020 compared to an average year?

Aging baby boomers for one. China virus weakened many with other conditions, but they are hitting their 70s and thus normal life expectancy.

There have been too many stories of adding "covid" to a death cert to ignore.

Again..... not saying all COVID-19 deaths should be called COVID-19 deaths. But..... there are thousands dying every day from the disease. And there were zero dying every day a year ago from it. If you want to say that out of the 3000 a day (I lose track of the quoted numbers) a few hundred are really from something else... ok.... but the overflowing ICUs are not because of more baby boomers. Not because of more obesity. Not because of ANYTHING except COVID-19. The lack of enough body bags in NYC was due to COVID -19. The need to turn hospital LOBBIES into ICUs was due to COVID 19.

Answering second question.... trauma deaths were way down when car driving was way down. So the shutdown due to COVID was effective in lowering those deaths.
