Yeah, maybe, I don’t know. I’ve bought one house, lifetime, and my down payment was $0.

I am in the business. You can get by with a very low down, however that is what led to 2008.

My rough estimate is about 1/3 should rent for one reason or another. The market is currently locking the bottom out for purchase with a mortgage.

I don't know if anyone answered the poll question but another source said 354,298 for the US as of 1 January and 1.89 million for the world.

The current count is 607,156 for the US as of July 11, 2021 and has now passed 4 million for the world. US, Brazil, and India have the most dead in absolute numbers, while Peru has by far the largest percentage of their population.

Since so many people are not getting vaccinated the count will probably surpass 675,000 this winter to beat the most often cited 1918 flu US deaths.

Here is a county level map showing the percentage of the total population fully vaccinated. The numbers are different because your map shows the percentage of adults with at leas one dose. The overall Texas rate is driven by the larger cities while it is very low in the rural areas. I am not sure why it is so high along the border. Maybe because that area suffered so much during the last surge. The border counties are more democrat and more Hispanic. Hispanics overall lag the rest of the state. Maybe another illustration of the differences among Hispanics.

In March of 2021, Bush, Carter, Clinton and Obama participated in a pro-vaccine campaign. Biden got his vaccine on camera in a scheduled event.

Which shows how silly it is for the Republicans to eschew the vaccine; what could POSSIBLY have influenced them to wander boldly down this suicidal path?

Gosh, I hear Trump daily praising CDC and lauding Fauci for all the "good work" he does for us all.

I regularly see Trump joining hands with Uncle Joe making a joint public plea on TV for ALL Americans to get vaccinated now, to set politics aside and do what is needed to preserve the union.

I thought it was great how he shook Joe's hand and congratulated him on his victory.
