Reading the local paper, they aren't keeping a daily score but our little county with the 3rd worst vax rates in the country comprises Kingman Az., Bullhead City and Lake Havasu. I've been trying to get an appointment for just a chest xray since Monday. They are so backed up I can't get a person, just robots. When I went in the hospital for a procedure last week, I now recognize quit fever is in the air. Just read an article from middle America, now beds aren't in short supply, but there are not staff to roll them around.

I've worked many hundred hour shifts, and even with the premium pay, you just burn out. I see articles where governors are considering to call out the national guard or not? Why not just call them out, if that is an option, get them some medical training, just in case it's something they may want to do when they get out of the guard? If they bring in the guard, every hour that a guardsperson works, it allows a permanent health worker an hour to breathe, or maybe even rest or go visit their family's. Nobody can stand a constant pounding. Bring in some relief before any more lifers quit for good. Locally here, Dr's are scattering, those that are close to retirement, are saying nuff's enough.
