Rand Paul Highlights the Absolute Absurdity of Hospital Covid Policies for Employees

I wonder if any of the hospital admins consider which variant that the staff are carrying, or are they treating all variants the same?

They are just now figuring out how to test variants quickly enough but I am not sure how fast the process will work to be ready for that kind of test when a new variant emerges.

It would have been good knowledge to have as we shifted from Delta to Omicron--they pulled monoclonal treatments because they weren't effective against the latter, which may have screwed people with the former.

We are a step behind in so many ways and we need to do better. The apologists will just say that President Biden is doing a wonderful job but the truth is we have had less victories in the process than we should have if everyone were working in the right direction and not dismissing science that doesn't get money to big pharma. Not saying we should have endorsed stuff that was bad, but we should have studied everything and made everything studied available with clear language for all to see.

I am not willing to say Trump or Biden did a great job. The vaccine being developed was great, but everything else seems to have run behind the pace.

Omicron may be the beginning of the end. It also may be the end of the beginning.

We need better leadership from those who are in charge of the scientists to make them give answers...lots of answers.
