You are just noticing all of this?

Seriously. I expect more out
of doctors, and am always
disappointed. I remember
20 years ago when a doc
prescribed a drug that would
conflict with the drugs I
was on, and I told him that,
and he left the room and came
back and said I was correct.
You're only paying the guy
because he has a script pad
and you don't. You really have
to verify anything they tell you
form 3 different sources.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Not that doctors shouldn’t generally know contraindications, but that’s basically what pharmacists are a failsafe against.

Texas governor limits election drop boxes to one per county in sprawling state

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a proclamation Thursday limiting the amount of drop-off locations for mail-in ballots to one site per county.

The move significantly affects the Democratic stronghold of Harris County, which is the state's largest county by population -- one of the most populous in the country -- and covers a massive area. It must now reduce its 11 drop-off locations down to one starting on Friday. Travis County, which includes the reliably Democratic city of Austin, must limit its four drop-off locations to one.
