Other than breaking completely or once having a bill stick up in the dispenser, I’ve had hundreds of correct counts with ATMs. Lots of miscounts with people over time. Why anyone thinks people counting ballots is safer or more accurate is nonsense. As a backup, fine. Part of the problem with people is the sheer monotony, minds wandering.
