I actually prefer that ALL protesters do so peacefully within the rules of our society.

What you are is saying is very similar to someone idiotically saying that no one on the left should be allowed to comment about 1/6 or any other thing idiots who are on the right might have done along the way because the left as a whole did not condemn the riots by some during the "Black Lives Matter" and "Occupy Wall Street" movements.

In other words, your point has no merit.

I get it. You and your cronies here, and even some on the far right, would rather NOT have a conversation here than actually acknowledge issues that are happening now and discuss from varying points of view. You'd rather just steamroll people who have differing opinions and have then leave so that this becomes what it is well on the way to being...a basically uninhabited shell of a board.

There doesn't have to be an exact equivalent. You can say one things is "worse" while something else is "also bad"...for example, take the protests right now. AOC is openly speaking in favor of it without coloring her support with condemnation of violence. There were similar things in earlier protests that turned into riots.

It is interesting that you always feel like things need to be the exact same things to be compared.

What I am "for" is condemnation of ALL protests that are violent or involve laws being broken. If people violate the law, they should be arrested and charged. Every time. That's all. I don't want them to "shut up" or not be allowed to peacefully and legally protest.

I am okay with ejecting any student who is here on a Student Visa and participates in a protest in an illegal manner or shouts "Death to America" from the country. They can get their education back home.

I notice you do not condemn or even call out what they are doing. You sound like the newscasts in front of BLM riots saying they were "mostly peaceful."

You are describing some of BLM riots I assume. Break into, trash and burn government buildings. Threatening those in the buildings with great bodily harm or death all because they don't agree with the law of the land.

And this is on purpose. So as to not infflame passions on either side, and out of respect for the opinions and beliefs of those friends who are Jewish (some Israeli) and those who are Muslim (some Palestinian), I won't publicly comment on the Gaza situation, even under the cloak of anonymity provided by pseudonyms.

I have no trouble inflamming Trump voters, MAGAmorons or Republicans in general, however. They all know where I stand!
