Humor me, Ed. Show me one of these ‘pro Palestinian’ protests with a sign saying ‘free the hostages’. Or ‘turn in the Kibbutz butcherers’. Or even ‘vote Hamas out’. Or ‘stop using civilians as human shields’. They don’t care about civilians. It’s all just an opacity to conceal their anti-semitism. They don’t give a shit about the raped/murdered/tortured civilian ISRAELI hostages. I’m still waiting for one of them to come up with a solution to get the Israeli hostages home. How about you, Ed? What’s your solution? If they were American hostages I would hope our leaders would stop at NOTHING to get them back.

Jewish students see it as black and white. If you don't support us, then you are against us
The protestors say it's a very complicated nuanced world and they simply want University divestment from the war

Being civilian killed is worse
I don't believe civilian Jewish lives are more valuable then civilian Palestinian lives

I've always been against Netanyahu
I've always been against Sharon
I liked Rabin. He was really hated similar to the right wing hate against Biden
He was assisinated. Sad
It's a complicated issue as Rabin would have explained if he was still alive.

Thoughtful answer. But the Palestinian civilians elected Hamas. They shield Hamas. They cheered for Hamas on October 7. They enabled Hamas to build the tunnels. To move the hostages around.

I’m not smart enough or informed enough to know if Israel had or has other viable options to get the hostages home other than the extreme warfare they are using. I was hoping they’d do the usual 10 criminal Palestinians released to get 1 hostage back.

Just so you know this…. YOU care more about Palestinian civilians than Palestinian leaders do. That is a FACT. If they cared about the civilian lives they never would have done the mass murder in Israel.

You care more about the Palestinian civilians than fellow Muslim country Egypt does. They could have opened their border to let an influx of Gazans in. Nope. Didn’t. Will not. Which other Middle East Muslim country has been taking in these Gazans? None. Because none of them care about the Gazan civilians, other than using them for PR reasons.

No one should have to provide for refugees to leave the area.. That's part of the point. Israel has overwhelming dominance militarily. They control the aid. They are right by the place all the time. They can control the timeline.

Correct. They don’t HAVE to. If they cared about them they WOULD. Heck, our country will take ‘refugees’ from Honduras, El Salvador, etc.. that are under FAR LESS risk than the Gazans that NO ONE WANTS. And by the way, do you think the murderers that crossed into Israel were not generally aware of the expected Israeli response to their mass murder and hostage taking? Not my point. MY point is Israel is creating the refugee crisis not the countries that won't do enough. We could easily supply enough manpower for non-military assistance like providing all the monitoring of aid going into Israel for weapons. We could provide ALL medical aide though we would get help from other countries which we already do.

Saying they all voted for Hamas, is like saying Trump getting elected will be because AMS, Terapined, myself all voted for him. Surely you don't believe in monolithic thought? Especially in an area where open support of moderation to Israel would get you hurt or killed.
