Another school shooting
4 dead
2 students, 2 teachers
Been reported that one of the dead is autistic
Sad
The new normal in the USA
Gov of Georgia just offering thoughts a prayers
He's very very very pro gun

Every other country on the planet cares more for their children's lives then guns. Only the USA are gun rights more important then children's lives. This is a uniquely USA problem. Some on the right blame social media or violent video games. That's BS. Social media and violent video games is a worldwide phenomenon. Only in the USA do we have regular school shootings.

For those who are interested, this GA county voted GOP/Donny 70.64% in 2020 and 72.35% in 2016. They voted for thoughts and prayers, and only thoughts and prayers and thoughts and prayers only. They thought and prayed it wouldn't happen to them. Maybe now they-and everyone else-will think differently.

The guy was flagged and being watched. School zones are "gun-free." Quit whining about "the GOP." More gun laws would not have stopped things.

FWIW I cannot describe how disgusting it is that in tragedy people want to make it all political with a cartoon like that and the added comments.

No trajedy for you, gun rights celebrated and no unborn children were hurt.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Quick, someone get Duffy’s fainting couch, he’s got the vapors from clutching his pearls so tightly.

some thoughts

this was the worst school shooting this year, according to a headline I saw

we'll get more now since the media is giving the perp all this attention [causes copy-cat]

the kid, said to be autistic, was already being watched for just this sort of thing.

back in my day, they used to suspend students pretty regularly. If you tended to get into fights, you were gone, didn't take much. If you were a nut making threats you sure werent going to still be in school working up resentment. And the kid wouldn't be seeing 24/7 coverage of the last nut who did something

I believe those who say the Ritalin etc they give to the kids these days is almost always a factor. This has been successfully denied in a manner unconvincing to me, the media have been told to drop it

The first person at fault is the gun owner for letting that 14 y/o get hold of a firearm. And not even a firearm any individual needs to have short of living in a war zone. 100 miles out of Atlanta isn’t a war zone.

No. The first person at fault is the shooter. And it is not your place to tell someone what kind of gun they “need.”

The first person at fault is the shooter. The 2nd person at fault is Duffman for stupid posts like this every time there’s a mass shooting.

LOL!!!
You're so dumb you fell right into my trap. All of sudden a 14-year-old is totally responsible for his decision, but the same 14-year-old can't decide to have trans treaatment even with approval of a parent and doctor.
