I'm finding his reported activities in regards to vaccinations a little alarming myself, but without question the MSM is reporting it all with full bias. It feels like you never hear his side of it directly from him

My understanding is that kids get sick a lot because they have not had any sicknesses yet. That every cold is "different" meaning a different virus, etc. Once you get one your body builds up immunity to it. As you age the viruses that are still hanging around cannot affect you as much. Thus if you try to vax for every little thing your body does not build up like it is supposed to do.

Any vax you are putting foreign things into your body, something to be avoided unless the risk/reward is high. Polio can cripple you for life, so the risk of not taking the vax for it is high. Get the flu and you are sick for a week, you will recover. The risk there is low. Seniors, though, are weaker physically so they may feel a higher risk of not taking.

This post almost makes sense. Even if you said risk/reward is low, which must be what you meant. To make Gene happy….. 5 CHILD deaths per year per state that COULD BE AVOIDED is a big deal. To properly state it, the risk/reward ratio for getting a flu shot is less than 1.

I will agree with Duffy that he should be able to not get flu shots. Helps cull the herd.

I probably did not convey risk/reward clearly. Doing a few things at one time this morning.

And that’s fine. What irks me is that you and people like you just can’t accept the simple fact that had the 250 dead kids all been vaccinated there would be far less than 250 dead kids. the Covid vaccine saved tens if not hundreds of thousands of lives. And decreased the severity of the illness on literally millions more.

And having listen to ‘but my aunt didn’t get vaccinated and she’s still alive at 86’ makes me want to put my head in a vise.

So in summary, feel free to do what you want for yourself. But don’t act like you actually know anything.

The last time I got a vaccine shot was in 1954 in kindergarten for smallpox and it was mandatory. Never gotten another one since, certainly not a flu shot. I'll be 76 on Saturday how did I live so long. I even got covid in 2020 before there was a vaccine and I lived through that. Amazing. That kindergarten shot was an eye opener for a lot of the boys there. They were giving the vaccine on a stage in the auditorium and we were all lined up down below and this little redheaded girl was screaming her head off so they couldn't put it in her arm so right in front of the entire school they lifted up her skirt pulled down her panties and stuck it right in her little white butt. This was 1954, try doing that now they probably end up in prison. But us little boys in the crowd certainly appreciated it.

We can never know if it would be "far less" than 250 or not. 250 in a nation of what, 100 million minors is nothing already. We can also never know how many had ill effects of the vax. It is doubtful the virus vax saved "hundreds of thousands" of lives. The whole virus thing was over-counting deaths from the beginning.
