He was quite familiar with Kirk, knew a lot about him.

Sounds like he inspired and helped lead today's nascent version of the Young Republicans.

rxwine makes a valid point however: basically it is ironic that a gun control denier gets gunned down.

Whatever, very sad day for America...one of many recently.

As for Charlie, may he rest in peace and may his killer face justice, to the extent a crime was committed. But I shed no tear.
