We have reasonable political discussions. But I would never be as rude as you are. They are Iranian. They say far worse things about that government than you or I ever would. Immigrated here legally. One a doctor, the other a dentist. Successful use of legal means to get here, and stay here.

Correct. I make fun of all religions here. But I would never do it to the face of a friend or colleague that believes in that religion. It’s part of existing collegiality in society. Which you obviously don’t. Do you have any friends? If one is unvaccinated do you seek them out to call them stupid?

If in fact you feel they are deluding themself then wouldn't it be best to bring that fact to their attention?

Or do you simply say "Let them be deluded for all I care, so long as they'll still talk to me."

I am not politically correct so I call em as I see em.

Not too long ago some guy at the fitness center I work out at made a serious mistake and started to try and proselytize, yakking fervently about god, his good works and such religious bullshit: you know, the kind of tripe that makes an atheist's ears bleed when mouth breathers try to persuade you to join their religion.

I seized the opportunity to explain to him, in clear, uncertain terms, that he was deluding himself believing in an invisible god.

I cited examples to support my argument and basically flensed and deboned him for about five minutes.

At the end he was speechless.

THAT'S how I roll...as on message boards, so it is in life.

I doubt they're legal so they shouldn't be in our prisons.

Sending them back after a couple of years of prison is a no-brainer, then write-off the loss.
