Yup. We've already established value closer to actual results with adults who have a track record. Are they giving a life prisioner the same injury award as someone on the outside working a high value profession and loss of valuables, etc., i hope not.

I can say very little about a 30mm size potential life.

This means I can agree with some of this lawsuits more than others. People that survive an accident should be compensated for earnings based on their previous profession and loss of it.

Even an acorn is worth something. Just don't oversell what it's worth.

"All injured parties may be entitled to a claim for loss of future income, regardless of their age or circumstances. Even children and minors, who may have never held a job, can still claim for loss of their future income.

When a child’s loss of income must be assessed without the benefit of an educational or employment history to use as a starting point, the calculation is necessarily more arbitrary than it would be for an adult. The court will look at factors like a child’s intelligence level, early educational achievements, and the family’s educational background and plans for their children to try and determine what the child’s career trajectory and earnings might have looked like if they had not been injured."

The above quote is from a law firm site so of course it is biased but probably somewhat true. I am probably more on your side on the issue but it is happening and growing and I can see future cases about compensation for the "murder" of an embryo. Some grandparent that didn't agree with the decision suing for the loss of a grandchild?

I actually wrote my Congress member about injury lawsuit possibility of a relatively minor fender bender auto accident turning into a manslaughter case because 3 days after a pregant women in the other car has a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Miscarriages are pretty common. If we're going to put all this value on early cellualar development it's possible to lead to these situations in high value life. I don't believe it's merited.

However, I'm fine if someone wants to place a really high value on their pet mouse for instance. Your personal choice to do this sort of thing is not something I have to approve of.

Yes, I am a survivor of child sexual grooming and abuse. I’m also a professor, an author, a friend and a colleague. Survivors like me are all around you, but we’ve learned that people don’t want to hear our stories.

A predator.

Like a dragon blowing fire out of a mouth?

A falcon or eagle?

Hundreds of Birds ‘Free Fall’ Out of the Sky

Feb 17, 2022

It’s a perfectly calm moment in Mexico, when suddenly, something mysterious falls from the sky! It’s a flock of black birds swirling to the ground, and it’s absolutely stunning. Hundreds and hundreds of the birds appear like a plume of black smoke. Within seconds, many of them fly off, but a considerable number are killed upon impact, left scattered on the ground. While it looks like they’re just free falling, Miami Zoo’s Ron Magill says that they were actually on the run from a predator.

More political theater for dummies.

Dumb as a post Newsom is a younger version of Biden.

It isn't kidnaping when the migrants volunteer to be taken to other locations.

NYC is getting more than 2,000 every week, and not one of the more than 70,000 now here, has complained about being taken here against their will. A handful of them requested to be moved out of NYC, to other locations in the state. Only to demand to be returned a few days later.

Governors DeSantis and Abbott are doing the migrants a favor. They can fend for themselves and remain in non-sanctuary states like Florida and Texas, or move at taxpayer expense to sanctuary cities like NYC and LA, where they are provided free food, housing, and medical care for life, at an annual cost of $135,000 per migrant household.

That is more than what 90% of US households earn working for a living.

Real median annual household income in the US is $70,824.

They have it better than you.

The democrat governor of Colorado is shipping them out of his state as well.
