Budweiser has gone woke.


So if I want a beer, I have to research for a replacement before I order one.

Many decades I've been a loyal customer, although I don't drink much now.

So not a big loss losing me since most of my beer drinking days are over.

But I'll make sure I tell 10 people before they go belly up and/or apologize.

I'll miss an occasional Bud Lime too.

Not alarming, really, as it will take forensics a bit of time to verify what happened.

How is LE to know the gun wasn't the attendant's own weapon?

Fingerprints on the ammo will tell the tale of ownership.

Then again, even if the gun was the thief's weapon, if he was shot in the back while running away that would not necessarily be self-defense, would it?

I mean, I can understand how the guy after getting shot in the gut and wrestling the weapon away would want some pay back, but it could be a jury question if they're not wrestling when the last shot was fired, i.e. if the perp were fleeing.

I've read no specifics as to the perp getting shot; don't know the details, were they still wrestiling or was he fleeing?

What on earth did Budweiser do? I just googled "Budweiser Woke" and nothing came up.

I say this as somebody who is not a fan of Budweiser's corporate politics (but probably for different reasons than you -also nothing specifically recently, at least not since the most recent world cup...-)
