I remember the left wingers crying that "Trump does not read his daily briefing" as though that meant he was not interested. Trump asked for the details verbally. He is one of those guys who wants the details he needs and no fluff. Kind that you have all the details of some project but says just, "When will it get done and do you need anything?" A true executive.

I always thought it was peculiar that Chelsey looked like Webb Hubbell of the Rose Law Firm.

That is true but it is just a summary. I believe I read somewhere that about 500 pages are compiled every day and usually it is just a 20 or 30 page briefing that the president gets.

It is probably more like 3-4 pages. A POTUS does not have time to read 20 pages every day. The way it likely goes is it gets delivered. POTUS can look at it (he is not allowed to keep it) but really he just asks what he needs to know. Skims it for what he might find of interest. Then the day goes about.

Executives are busy and might have a dozen meetings a day. They get the high-level, only the detail if it is needed.

If Kamala wins they will give her a picture book.
