AP opportunity. Can you take a cart from the lot and get someone else’s quarter? Or consider it a sale to buy a cart for $0.25? Then sell it to a homeless person for $1? |

Don't know if I'll ever convert it to an account with real money - I'll see how I do. Binary options are very different because you can just bet over or under a certain price at a certain time. You can make a trade for as little as $6.00 which would have a low probability of winning - the payout if it won would be $100 minus $2.00 in fees. The profit would be $100 minus the fees and minus the cost of the bet - so in this case $92.00 You could also of course make a bet with a high probability of winning but low profit - similar to betting on a 7 point fave in the NFL on the moneyline. the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |

Thank you, that is interesting. I had no idea that they did that. My wife goes to Aldi maybe once a month and has found some frozen meals that we really like. The Thai Coconut Chicken and Korean Chicken meals are wonderful and only cost about $7 and it feeds three of us. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

What's kind of funny is that Europeans are under the assumption that the Aldi model is how all grocery stores are run. They are shocked when they come here and see the ineffency in our system Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

| PotPie Member since: Oct 9, 2022 Threads: 11 Posts: 550 | This is fun - trading binaries on the Nadex demo - will I ever do this with real money? - I think so. My trade from yesterday afternoon on the close of the Tech (Nasdaq) 100 - I did an arbitrage - when I did it the index was at 11,985 I bet that at 4:15 today it will be under 11,912.6 or over 12056.6 The index is very volatile - that's why I did this - I know I can't predict the direction I am risking about $74 to make about a $24 profit after fees the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |

For example, if a person owns a fund that has majority positions of AAPL, MSFT, & NVDA, then buy puts (on NDX in this case) at the fund's peak. The puts would be like an insurance policy. When the market moves down, the puts will increase in value to offset the lower value in the fund. When the market moves up, the puts would decrease in value against the increase in fund value. When the market bottoms, close the put position. |
