"On Friday, Pritzker, asked whether he was suggesting that the president is an authoritarian, pointed to Germany's history. He noted that he built a Holocaust museum and knows "what the history was of a constitutional republic being overturned, after an election, in 53 days." Edward goes to his CPA job and takes his kid to little league without issue. SOOPOO golfs daily an no one bothers him, except if they play too slowly. Marilyn visits her grandkids and uses her SS check, her Medicare health benefits, and senior discount at the local pizza shop and struggles to see ‘the authoritarian regime’.
It’s authoritarian to (presumably non voting) illegal aliens. It’s authoritarian to violent criminals. It’s authoritarian to those that want to destroy us from within, like ‘the Squad’.
One man’s ’authoritarian regime’ is another man’s ’safer streets in DC’.

As has been their recent playbook, the Democrats will run on issues that most VOTERS are either ambivalent about, or just against.

Is it authoritarian to have food prices continue to be high or even increasing? Is it authoritarian to cut funding for school lunch? You mention Marilyn and her SS check and Medicare. Is it authoritarian to cut funding for rural hospitals? Goa head and tell the people causing a rukus at all those middle America town halls hosted by their Congressman that the OBBB isn't authoritarian.

Is it authoritarian to continue to say he'll run for a third term? Is it authoritarian to say people want him to be a dictator?

Presumable non-voting illegal aliens? You know full well non citizens aren't voting in US elections in anything but sparse numbers that are rare. Quit being such a knucklehead with your identify politics on this. You;re supposed to be smarter than that. And the only people destroying us from within are the knuckleheads you say you are against, RFK Jr, Donny himself, the Jan 6 criminals, but do nothing to stop them.

To remind you, I was hoping the Jan 6 insurrectionists would have been subject to lethal force to end the insurrection. And am not in favor of virtually anything associated with RFK, Jr. And while I do believe there is a non zero number of illegals that manage to vote, I’d surmise the number is very low, and certainly did not affect the result of any Presidential election.

We shall see in a little over a year if America is worried about all the things you are, or if they are happier with more secure borders, paring of the federal government, end of DEI funding, his use of federal resources to combat inner city crime, etc…

Then why did you write "(presumably non voting) illegal aliens." Are you casting doubt that illegal aliens do not vote in US elections?

Then why do you support his actions on vaccines, if you not in favor of virtually anything associated with RFK, Jr?

Then why do you support the politicians who supported Jan 6, and who pardoned them, and support them now?

We shall see in a little over a year if America is worried about stubbornly high gas prices, stubbornly high food prices and stubbornly high electric bills, etc...

Trump looking for ways to ignore every law there is, or to put it another way, I'm more concerned with how he wants to do things than even what he is doing.

I do pay close to no attention to Trump approval rating polls. I approve of many of the things he is doing. Disapprove of lots too. Can’t answer the simple ‘do you approve of Trump’ type question. I can give you specifics if you want. And as far as country ‘going in the wrong direction’, how vague can that concept be? Is it going in the wrong direction because of Trump? Or is it going in the wrong direction because of the obstructionism of the TDS crowd? Is it going in the wrong direction because the Republicans are idiots and don’t know how to use their power, or is it going in the wrong direction because Democrat mayors won’t accept needed federal assistance in crime fighting?
