I don't much care about what "the country wants."

It is my own thoughts, desires and hopes that concern me.

Hell, I lose EVERY TIME in EVERY presidential election as I always vote Libertarian, but that does not impact my right and desire to call out a rabld dog as such when I see one slobbering.

His policies actions may suck, but they are NOT distractions. They are his policies and actions.

You have 2 1/2 more years of his follies. You guys have a chance in November to hamstring him severely. Let’s see if that’s what the country wants.

Aren't you one of "those guys", or are you now an out and proud MAGA?

Envision the term: "A sheep in wolf's clothing."

Soopoo certainly wants to drink the MAGA Kool-AId, in fact he sips it at times but then comes to his senses and says "WTF was I thinking..."

Rinse and repeat.

By most definitions, I don’t come close to being MAGA. I tried to think of which policies they support that I do as well.

Strong border security

Support for as opposed to demonizing law enforcement.

Universal requirement for voter ID.

That’s about it I think for their main planks.

Do not think Biden stole an election
Do not think Trump is a good man or a good leader
Am against his ‘no tax on tips/OT/now gas/Social Security’
FOR abortion rights.
And yes, generally against his war in Iran.
Against the berating of ANYONE that offers differing opinions.

When I make these lists it reminds me how bad both major parties are.

In Nebraska, a guy is running for Senate, technically an Independent but really a Democrat, who says if he wins he will not caucus with EITHER party! Meaning he’ll sit home alone talking to himself. He is apparently just a point or two behind the Republican incumbent. If he wins he might be the next ‘Manchin’.

I support LE as well...when they are doing their jobs and not violating our rights.

We already have universal voter ID. Voter registrations are cross-checed with databases to verify eligibility.

By voter ID I mean checking a person’s ID when they vote. Last time I voted I scribbled in a box near a box I previously scribbled in. Some very nice 93 year said thank you, perhaps looked at them, and I voted. That’s not secure. I’d be more confident if I had a photo ID like a drivers license that the nonagenarian can reasonably see.

When you registered and you filled in your DL number or the last 4 of your SSN on the registration form and the town clerk cross referenced with the state DL database or the SS database, that isn't sufficient?

Again, prove outcome determinative voter fraud or shut up about it.

In the pantheon of stupid Geno posts, this one ranks high.

Laws can be PROACTIVE instead of REACTIVE.

If I asked for a law preventing drones from flying over my house with a drum of sulfuric acid…. Here’s Geno’s response….

‘Prove outcome determinant risk of drone sulfuric acid injury or shut up about it. I mean, it’s never happened before….

We already have proactive laws to help prevent voter fraud. And they work well.

Give a compelling reason to change the status quo, or shut up about it.

I am curious to see how this week plays out with China. I honestly thought combat would resume last weekend.
