Trump has made a big announcement that a deal may be released soon, and Iran will agree not to have nuclear weapons.

Watch, after all this, and all these lives tossed into the sausage grinder, all we get is a deal weaker than the JCPOA. So Trump shredded that, and sent countless Americans to be killed and injured, just to beg for a weaker version of that...

And, I guarantee all the right wing numbskulls who spent 10 years backing the JCPOA (probably without being able to cite a single section,) will praise Trump as a grand deal maker.

Also, after weeks of being told by Trump that we will not release a dollar to them. How many people want to bet that money will be unfrozen? Also, I'm sure it will be spun as a win and part of a "grand deal."

The reason Trump is talking nonstop about the ceasefire holding this morning is to prevent market panic. If he attacks, it will be this evening after markets close, and push hard to wrap up by Sunday night. Crazy that market timing is a factor in war planning, but we will see what happens this weekend.

Wrong. As usual. We attacked last night. Blew up stuff on 3 islands. Disabled a few Iranian tankers by selectively targeting their smokestacks! When you’ve already eliminated a country’s Navy and Air Force you can do such things. Market up slightly so doesn’t seem like anyone cares about these attacks much. Trump called it a ‘love tap’ and stated the cease fire is holding. To me, every time an opposing force bombs the smoke stacks of my tankers I don’t perceive that as a ‘cease fire holding’. We have reduced Iran to fighting with sticks and stones.
